In the Spring of 2016, I realized I am prejudice. prejudice noun prej·u·dice \ˈpre-jə-dəs\ :  an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics : an unfair feeling of dislike for a person or group because of race, sex, religion, etc. : a feeling of like or dislike for someone or something especially when it is not reasonable or logical All of these definitions fit my condition perfectly. The Day I Was the Sun (Metaphorically Speaking)

The mid-afternoon sky was cluttered with ripples of brush-stroked clouds that day, But the sky was still light. Splashes of bright blue broke up the cream and grey colored bodies of dirty air. The relentless sun made her best effort to escape the shadows. Beams of luminescence escaped small pockets in the puffy clouds that crowded the yellow ball. She danced along the outside of their darkening hues – making them three dimensional against their fixed backdrop. Bright white glowed along the edges of each one, Hindering their intimidating discoloration. Eye See You

It’s been said that our eyes are the windows to our souls. I believe that. I saw a picture tonight, of a girl I don’t know, and this thought went through my head: There are some people, who even though they are smiling in every picture, and even if their smile is perfect, you can still see sadness in their eyes.
